Black & White Abstract Alphabet
I love exploring and deconstructing the alphabet and extracting abstract ideas from it’s basic shapes. This experiment started digitally using illustrator and then I drew the new shapes by hand with ink on square sheets of paper. By enlarging letters and numbers out of the frame, I reduce the alphabet to a negative and positive space which the viewer can interpret into a new meaning.
Triangles, lines, slides and curves. Doors, windows and keyholes. What you see is only limited by your imagination.
